On June 7th in downtown San Leandro, the 2025 Cherry Festival brought together families, artists, and local leaders. From 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, our booth welcomed a steady stream of visitors eager to engage in hands-on activities and explore youth-led creativity.

This year, our interactive offerings included origami folding and face painting. We were proud to display and sell original works by Julianne and Vivia including handcrafted stickers, postcards, and paintings that reflected both personal storytelling and artistic innovation.

A highlight of the day was the visit from San Leandro Mayor Juan González III, whose ongoing support for youth-led initiatives and local artists continues to inspire our mission. His presence at our booth was a meaningful reminder of the power of civic engagement and community partnership.

The Cherry Festival remains one of our favorite annual events, and we’re deeply grateful to all who stopped by, participated in activities, and supported our work. We look forward to continuing to grow alongside our community and creating spaces where art and advocacy meet.
